RESET
WHAT IS RESET?
Ripple Effects Student Engagement Taskforce (RESET) provides educational services, mentorship, and tutoring for students who have been suspended or expelled from school.
Throughout the program, students receive support, encouragement, mentoring, academic coaching, anger/conflict resolution, volunteer opportunities, and referrals to community agencies when needed.
The academic coaching is aligned with the NC Standard Course of Study so that students stay connected with their regular class assignments.
RESET works closely with the school and the student’s family to ensure that academic concerns and behavioral challenges are addressed.
The program collaborates with community agencies, mental health centers and individual therapists with whom students are currently involved.
